Biography

Dirk Bottelier obtained his Master of Laws degree from the Catholic University of Louvain (KUL) in 1993 and further qualified in commercial and economic law at the University of Liège (ULg).

Dirk Bottelier began his career at the bar of Tongeren in 1994.

Practice Areas

Dirk Bottelier practices primarily in the following areas of law:

• company law: acquisition of companies, transfers of shares, shareholder agreements, defence of shareholders and liability of company directors, etc.
• tort law: defence of directors, executives, auditors, accountants, bookkeepers and agents
• commercial law: cooperation agreements between traders, cooperation agreements between liberal professionals, assistance of traders in financial difficulties, trade disputes, commercial representation, distribution contracts, etc.
• contract law: commercial lease, contracting agreement, purchase agreement, distribution agreements, etc.
